Jharkhandi Dhun — Rebuilt in Sound
Jharkhandi Dhun (also written Nagpuri Dhun) is a free, browser-based radio built to recreate one specific feeling: Sadri folk and wedding geet drifting out of a roadside speaker, and modern Nagpuri pop keeping a long drive company. Press play, and it streams a rotating mix of real Sadri, Nagpuri, and Kurukh tracks pulled straight from YouTube — styled around the color and motifs of Jharkhand's own Sohrai wall art.

Quick guide
जानकारीWhat is Jharkhandi Dhun?
A browser-based always-on radio concept for Jharkhand's Sadri and Nagpuri music, rotating mood by time of day — no app, no login.
Where does the audio actually come from?
Each track streams from YouTube via the official IFrame Player API, embedded off-screen — this site's controls just drive that hidden player. If a video's owner ever disables embedding or removes it, that track will show a short error instead of failing silently.
How is the rotation decided?
It's computed client-side from the current time in the Asia/Kolkata timezone and mapped to one of four moods: dawn, afternoon, evening, night.
